Really excited that in a few weeks season 2 of Hannibal starts. If you haven’t started watching Hannibal yet you have to start asap. It is by far one of the best new series in years. Everything about it is excellent from the unnaturally brilliant performances to the gore to every single thing. It can get really intense from time to time, which is exactly the kind of shit that makes me implode with love.

Quick Anime Impressions: Kill la Kill.
Can we talk about how insanely fucking over-the-top insanely insane is Kill la Kill? The first half of season 1 just ended and I highly recommend it. It’s too early to call it one of the best anime ever, but it is definitely one of the most entertaining I’ve ever seen. It’s incredible how this show redefines “over-the-top” with every new episode. Plus this is one of those anime where you kinda want the villains to win, because they are just a million times awesomer and badass. Main boss Satsuki Kiryuin is by far one of my favourite female characters ever.

Quick Anime Impressions: Guilty Crown.
Just finished Guilty Crown and I gotta say that I’m disappointed. The show started pretty cool and interesting even though the protagonist was the definition of annoying. I can’t say I’m a fan of the trend of having the protagonist be such a childish boy who constantly complains instead of taking action. Good thing the supporting characters were all great and in the end the main dude does grow some balls. At any case, the ending was pretty anticlimactic and the once the truth behind overall mystery is revealed… well it’s underwhelming. On the positive side, Guilty Crown has by far one of the best soundtracks of any anime I’ve seen.
